All positions are part-time, contract positions and should be considered supplemental income. All contract positions are paid a percentage of each assignment, not an hourly rate.

Daily Dog Walker

Requirements for all positions:
- Must LOVE pets – dogs, cats, horses, tortoises, chickens, etc. Previous pet care experience is highly desired but not required.
- Happiness and well being of the animals at all times.
- Meet all scheduling requirements and have a flexible schedule.
- College degree preferred
- At least 21 years old (mature adults are highly encouraged to apply).
- Currently live in Queen Creek, South East Gilbert, South Chandler and Paradise Valley. Must live within 10 miles of your visits.
- Be physically fit for the job – (i.e. walking dogs, getting on the floor to play with pets, bending, climbing stairs and lifting up to 25 lbs, etc…)
- Basic understanding of how to interact with dogs and cats.
- Horses – are only cared for by sitters who have extensive experience working and caring for them.
- CPR and First aid certification for pets.
- Purchase pet sitters insurance through Playful Paws Pet Sitting.
- Must be willing and able to stay overnight in clients home.
- Be willing to commit to the position for at least 1 year.
- Applicant must have the following:
- Valid Arizona driver’s licensed with excellent driving record!
- Proof of US citizenship and present photo identification.
- Insured, licensed reliable car
- Be able to pass a thorough, detailed background check.
- Access to the Internet, computer and working printer in your home.
